BIM Management Services (ISO 19650)

An experienced BIM manager who sets up and runs your project’s information and modelling process to ISO 19650 — from the BIM Execution Plan through model coordination and clash detection to structured data for FM handover.

What’s included

Our BIM management service gives you a named BIM manager who works with your design team and contractors to deliver coordinated models and reliable information, in line with ISO 19650.

  • BIM Execution Plan (BEP). Pre- and post-appointment BEPs that respond to the client’s information requirements and set out how the team will deliver.
  • Information requirements support. Help defining and interpreting the Exchange Information Requirements so the team knows what to produce and when.
  • Model reviews. Checking models against the BEP for naming, structure, level of information and fitness for purpose.
  • Model federation. Bringing discipline models together in Navisworks for a single coordinated view of the project.
  • Clash detection. Running clash tests across Revit and Navisworks models, issuing clash reports and tracking resolution through coordination meetings.
  • CDE setup and administration. Configuring and running Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, Asite or SharePoint as the Common Data Environment.
  • COBie data. Specifying, collecting and checking COBie asset data where the client requires it.
  • As-built models for FM handover. Making sure the as-built model and asset information handed over at completion are complete and usable for facilities management.

When you need it

  • Your client or framework requires delivery to ISO 19650 and you don’t have an in-house BIM manager.
  • You’re bidding for public sector work where BIM capability is part of the requirement.
  • Your design team is producing models, but nobody is federating them or running clash detection.
  • The building owner needs structured asset data and as-built models for facilities management.
  • Your CDE has grown messy and needs setting up or bringing back under control.

How we work

  1. Free 30-minute consultation. We talk through your project, your information requirements and where the gaps are. No obligation.
  2. A plan or a tailored proposal. Choose a monthly plan sized to your workload, or request a bespoke fee proposal — we reply within 24–48 hours.
  3. Onboarding within 5 working days. Your BIM manager gets access to your CDE, models and meetings, and agrees reporting with you.
  4. Monthly delivery with reporting. The agreed days are delivered each month with clear model coordination and information reporting. Up to 20% of unused days roll over.

Frequently asked questions

What does a BIM manager do?

A BIM manager sets up and runs the information and modelling process on a project — writing the BIM Execution Plan, reviewing and federating models, running clash detection and making sure the data handed over at completion is complete and usable.

How much do your BIM management services cost?

It depends on the number of days and the mix of roles you need. Request our plans and pricing and we’ll email you the full rate card, or ask for a tailored fee proposal.

Which software do you use for BIM coordination?

We work hands-on in Revit and Navisworks for model review, federation and clash detection, and with Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, Asite and SharePoint as the Common Data Environment.

Do we need COBie?

It depends on your client’s information requirements and how the building will be operated. COBie is a structured format for handing asset data to facilities management. We confirm whether it is required, specify what is needed and check the data before handover.

Do you deliver to ISO 19650?

Yes. We deliver BIM and information management to ISO 19650, and our team holds APM, RICS and CIOB membership.
